Synthetic (polypropylene) fiber: strong, stiff fibers, manufactured by injection molding or extrusion. Due to the wide variety of polypropylene fibers and their resistance to water and other fluids, they may be used in working environments characterized by high temperatures, in which coolants are used in the machining process. Commonly used in the manufacture of filters, and the textile and plastics industries.
